At IIM SKILLS, we provide 100% Peace of Mind to our participants. To maintain professional standards and operational clarity, our refund policy is governed by the following strictly enforced terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Policy

  • Applicability: This policy applies exclusively to Online Instructor-Led Courses.
  • Exclusions: This policy does not apply to self-learning (recorded) programs, specialized workshops, seminars, or any offline training conducted by IIM SKILLS.

2. Conditions for Refund Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, the participant must satisfy all of the following "Conditions Precedent":

  • Mandatory Attendance: Live participation in Session 1 is mandatory.
  • Feedback Submission: The participant must provide session feedback immediately following the conclusion of the first class.
  • Strict Timeline: A formal refund claim must be sent via email to [email protected] within twenty-four (24) hours of the completion of the first session. Claims made after this window are strictly ineligible.

3. General Exclusions

No refund shall be processed, and the guarantee shall be deemed void, under the following circumstances across all courses:

  • Voluntary Withdrawal: The student decides to drop the plan to pursue the course, specific certification (e.g., ACCA, Data Analytics, etc.), or professional papers due to personal reasons, change of career path, or lack of time.
  • Non-Appearance: If a student registers for an external professional examination but does not appear for it, IIM SKILLS is not liable for any refund of course fees.
  • Administrative/Personal Issues: Any internal personal issues of the participant, including but not limited to health, family, or employment changes, do not constitute grounds for a refund after the 24-hour eligibility window.

4. Forfeiture of Refund Rights

A refund claim shall be deemed null and void if:

  • LMS Activity: The participant has accessed, viewed, or downloaded any session recordings, study materials, or digital property from the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Absence: The participant fails to attend the first live session. Attendance in any subsequent session without having attended Session 1 nullifies refund eligibility.

5. Loan & Third-Party Financing (Refund Deductions)

In cases where a student has enrolled using financing options from our loan partners (including but not limited to Bajaj Finserv, Razorpay, GyanDhan, etc.):

  • Processing Fee Deduction: These partners charge non-refundable processing and interest-handling fees. In the event of a refund claim, a deduction of up to 15% (depending on the loan tenure and partner terms) will be applied to the refund amount to cover these costs.
  • Full & Final Settlement: The remaining amount (after the deduction) shall be considered a 100% Full and Final Settlement of the refund claim.

6. Processing and Reimbursement

  • Source: Refunds are processed back to the original source of registration.
  • Timeline: It takes approximately 10 working days for banks to process and reflect the refund in the participant's account.
  • Finality: In any other case not explicitly mentioned, IIM SKILLS will be unable to process a refund.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this policy shall be settled by legal proceedings. The courts at New Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with this policy.

Can I transfer my enrollment?

Yes, you may transfer your seat to a friend or family member at no extra cost, provided the request is made prior to the start of the course.

What if I change my mind about the career path?

As per our General Exclusions, voluntary withdrawal from a course due to a change in personal or career plans does not qualify for a refund once the course has commenced or the 24-hour window has passed.

What if I missed the first class?

Attending Session 1 is a mandatory requirement. We cannot process a refund without verified live attendance for the very first class of the batch.

How do you track downloads?

Our LMS provides user-specific logs. We conduct a thorough audit of your digital activity (views and downloads) before processing any refund requests.

What constitutes the "First Session"?

The first session is the first scheduled class of your batch. If you miss this class or shift your enrollment and attend a later session, that later session is considered the 2nd session, making you ineligible for a refund.
