IIM SKILLS – Job Guarantee Consent & Policy Agreement

This Consent & Policy Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between:

IIM SKILLS, a registered educational institution offering online professional courses (hereinafter referred to as "IIM SKILLS" or the "Institute"),

AND

The undersigned student (hereinafter referred to as the "Student" or "Participant").

By enrolling in a Job Guarantee Course offered by IIM SKILLS, the Student agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Job Guarantee Clause

1.1 IIM SKILLS provides a 100% Job Guarantee upon successful completion of certain designated courses.

1.2 Job Placement Commitment & Refund Eligibility

IIM SKILLS offers two categories of programs:

A. Job Guarantee Programs (Premium Fee Programs)

• These programs include a Job Guarantee commitment and require payment of an additional premium fee.
• For students enrolled in Job Guarantee Programs, IIM SKILLS commits to facilitating job placement within 12 months from the date of course completion, subject to the student fulfilling all eligibility criteria and placement requirements outlined in this policy.
• If IIM SKILLS is unable to facilitate job placement within 12 months, the student will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the total program fee, subject to the terms and conditions stated in this policy.

B. Regular Programs (Non-Job Guarantee Programs)

• Certain programs offered by IIM SKILLS do not include a Job Guarantee commitment and do not require payment of the premium Job Guarantee fee.
• For students enrolled in these regular programs, IIM SKILLS provides placement assistance only, and no refund or job guarantee clause shall apply.
• Students enrolled in such programs will not be eligible for the 50% refund clause mentioned above.
• The eligibility of a student for the Job Guarantee commitment will be determined based on the specific program enrolled in, as clearly mentioned on the respective course page and enrollment confirmation.

2. Definition of “Placement”

2.1 Placement will be deemed fulfilled if the Student obtains a job offer through any of the following means:

• IIM SKILLS Placement Cell or HR consultants
• IIM SKILLS Job Portal
• External job platforms (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn etc.)
• Direct self-application using skills gained in the course

2.2 Geographical location of the job is not restricted to the Student’s current city or country of residence. Placement in any location worldwide will be considered valid.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Refund

To be eligible for the refund under the job guarantee, the Student must:

• Complete 100% of the course curriculum
• Submit all assignments, projects, and assessments on time
• Maintain 90% attendance in live sessions, workshops, and activities
• Participate in all evaluations, tests, mock interviews, and job fairs
• Apply for at least 50 job opportunities through the placement portal
• Attend all placement-related activities (resume building, feedback sessions, etc.)
• Demonstrate active participation, availability, and communication skills during the placement process

Failure to meet any of the above requirements voids the refund eligibility.

4. Non-Refund Scenarios

The following circumstances shall disqualify a Student from the refund:

• Refusal of job opportunities for any reason, including location, salary, or employer type
• Failure to attend interviews or respond professionally during placement
• Corporate-sponsored enrollments
• Incomplete fee payments or default on installments
• Lack of communication or presentability in interviews
• Voluntary exit or withdrawal after refund deadline
• Market downturns or recession periods — IIM SKILLS may extend placement timelines

5. Additional Policies

5.1 Attendance & Participation

• 90% attendance required in live classes
• Pre-approved absences must be documented (e.g., medical certificate)

5.2 Timely Submission

• All tasks must be submitted by deadline
• Extensions only granted in exceptional cases with facilitator approval

5.3 Mandatory Evaluation

• All tests and assessments are compulsory
• Underperformance may require remedial classes

5.4 Code of Conduct

• Respectful, professional behavior expected
• Harassment/misconduct leads to expulsion with no refund

5.5 Intellectual Honesty

• All work must be original
• Plagiarism or cheating results in termination

5.6 Availability & Commitment

• Students must allocate time for sessions and assignments
• Participation in forums and doubt sessions is mandatory

5.7 Payment Terms

• Full payment or installment adherence is mandatory
• Non-payment suspends access and job guarantee

5.8 No Refund Policy (Post Deadline)

• After refund deadline, no refund is applicable

5.9 Technical Requirements

• Students must have reliable device and internet
• IIM SKILLS is not liable for student-side disruptions

5.10 Confidentiality Agreement

• Do not share course content or materials
• Breach may result in legal action

5.11 Feedback & Mentoring

• Attend and act upon feedback sessions

5.12 Health & Emergency

• Report emergencies promptly to coordinators
• Leave granted only for valid, documented reasons

5.13 Disclaimer of Liability

• No guarantee if Student underperforms in interviews
• Job guarantee is subject to market conditions and participation

5.14 Policy Amendments

• IIM SKILLS may change policies or course content with prior notice

5.15 Grievance Redressal

• Submit concerns via official grievance portal
• Resolutions within 7 business days

5.16 Termination Clause

• IIM SKILLS may terminate enrollment for:
  • Consistent underperformance
  • Policy breach or misconduct
  • Violation of any clause in this Agreement

6. Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
